- Description
- Furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work to construct a new sand/salt storage shed, asbestos abatement at various locations on the VA campus, lead paint removal at Quarter's 69, new flow splitting structure, oxidation ditch modifications, tank drain system for the oxidation ditch No. 1 and No. 2, piping modifications and process equipment as required by drawings and specifications. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with plans and specifications. Completion Time: 180 days. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required in the form of a cashiers check or money order made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All requests for plans and specifications must be in writing to the Contracting Officer (BSL1), Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, ME 04330. Plans and specifications shall be ready on or about 6/10/03. Only one (1) set of bid documents will be issued to each bidder. Bid documents will be available on a first come first serve basis. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 6/26/03 at 10:00 a.m. local time in the Engineering Conference Room, 2nd floor, Bldg. 202 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, ME. Bid Opening will be held on 7/10/03 at 2:00 p.m., local time in Bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 216. All bids must be time and date stamped in Bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 201 prior to the 2:00 p.m. bid opening. NAICS Code: 233320. Construction Cost Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. NOTE: BID DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE VIA THE WEB. INTERESTED BIDDERS MUST REQUEST PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION.
