Description
FIRE ALARM PHASE II - VAMC, San Francisco, Ca This solicitation is unrestricted, the NAICS is 238210 and the small business size standard is $12. Million. The contractor shall provide all necessary design, tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, license and supervision in accordance with the design criteria and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract for Project 662-03-113 Replace Fire Alarm System, located at the VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, Ca. 94121. Work includes but is not limited to all engineering and design work, including layout drawings, specifications, etc., replace and provide a new FIRE ALARM system for the VA medical center San Francisco; which consist of thirty (34) buildings throughout the center. This project will allow the reuse of the exiting conduit, circuit wiring and alarm initialing devices, only if comparable with new system. The new Fire Alarm addressable system shall include the following devices; supervisory panels with battery backup, duct smoke detectors should work with addressable system, speakers and audible strobes.. Estimated dollar value of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Estimated solicitation issue date is July 22, 2003. Estimated offer closing date is August 25, 2003. Specification documents consisting of the Solicitation, Design Criteria, facility layout sketch and RFP forms may be downloaded without charge from the following web site: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ on or about July 22, 2003. No hard copies will be provided. Return of the solicitation material is not required. It is recommended that interested parties enter their information in the Solicitation Mailing List (SML) at the web sit referenced above. The SML is accessible at the bottom of the Solicitation Summary page by selecting _Enter Solicitation Mailing List Application._ Interested parties must go to the web site to obtain copies of the Offeror=92s Mailing List, individual copies of the offerors mailing list WILL NOT be prepared. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the referenced web site. Hard copies of the amendments will not be individually mailed. By entering vendor information on the SML, potential offerors will be notified electronically of any new amendments that have been posted. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this Solicitation. Failure to acknowledge any and all amendments will result in your offer being considered NON-RESPONSIVE. Telephone request will not be accepted. This project is subject to the availability of FY 2003 funding.
