The contractor will provide a 3000 gallon nitrogen tank and a 6500 SCFH vaporizer or equivalent to a 150 service. The nitrogen piping system will be constructed with stainless steel piping that will rundown the second floor corridor with the option of running a second loop down the first floor corridor or dropping lines through the ceiling for the two rooms on the first floor. The system will service thirteen laboratory rooms. The requirements of the system are: (1.) Provide and install a tank at a site designated by the government. This equals 600 liters per minute maximum capacity. (3.) Run a central line down the second floor corridor ceiling or above the laboratories. (4.) Provide purity of gas from each tap: 99.999% minimum purity. (5.) All piping shall be stainless steel, solvent cleaned pipe for oxygen service, with welded certified joints. (6.) Provide design cleaning system in case of future contamination. (7.) Provide remote monitoring of liquid level in tank and the overall system gas pressure (for major leaks). (8.) Install an in-line flow meter to monitor gas flow from the main tank, and possibly at strategic points in the system. (9.) Provide a tank pad, 3000 gallon nitrogen tank and provide and install a 6500 standard cubic foot per hour (SCFH) vaporizer or equivalent to match a 600 liters per minute (1/min) at 150 pounds per inch service. (10.) Remove ceiling and install the pipe above the existing ceilings and painting of the pipe where exposed to view below the ceiling. The Contractor shall meet specified Nitrogen piping system scope, material specifications for nitrogen System, and System qualifications.
