- The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) has a requirement for audit services of TRICARE processed health care claims and claim adjustments made under contracts administered by TMA [includes 7 current managed care support (MCS) contracts that will transition to 3 managed care support service (MCSS) contracts, and one TRICARE Dual Eligible Financial Intermediary Contract (TDEFIC)]. As a result of this solicitation, one contract is expected to be awarded. The period of performance will include a base period (01 May 2004 ? 30 April 2005) plus four 1-year option periods. This solicitation is unrestricted and is expected to result in a fixed price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 26 June 2003 and the date for receipt of proposals is anticipated to be on our about 07 August 2003. Copies of the solicitation will be available electronically on the TMA website at www.tricare.osd.mil/contracting/healthcare/solicitations . Paper copies will not be available.
