- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement to procure Acoustic Device Countermeasure (ADC) MK2 Mod 1 devices. The ADC Mk 2 is a 3-inch diameter, submarine launched, expendable countermeasure device developed to provide SSN, SSBN and SSGN submarines the capability to counter torpedo threats. To fulfill this requirement, NAVSEA will issue a RFP soliciting Firm-Fixed-Price proposals from industry. The requirement consists of a base year and up to four (4) one-year options. The estimated annual quantity is 100 ? 850 units per year based on annual requirements. The RFP will also include requirements for re-manufacturing existing AD MK2 Mod1 units (base year only), technical/engineering services, and technical data. The specifications for the ADC MK2 Mod 1 are classified CONFIDENTIAL. Accordingly, those intending to submit a proposal must provide evidence of a valid facili ty security clearance, a classified mailing address, and a CAGE code. This will be a full and open competition. The RFP will be available from www.neco.navy.mil on or about 07 March 2003. *****
