- Description
- The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Minerals Management Service (MMS), Minerals Revenue Management (MRM), intends to enter into a no-cost agreement with Equity Metrix LLC, 2920 Amherst Avenue, Dallas, TX 75225 to assist in beta testing of Equity Metrix' settlement service software in response to Equity Metrix' Government accepted unsolicited proposal. A sole source agreement may be awarded as a result of this unsolicited proposal. MRM will test Equity Metrix' software for settling royalty and passive interest sales at the wellhead to evaluate whether this product far exceeds the current software. Offerors who feel that they have a good business case to challenge the Government's position are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement. The written notification (including a telephone number and e-mail address for the point of contact) is due fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis. An affirmative response shall include all information necessary to be evaluated to determine if a competitive opportunity exists. Telephone requests will not be honored. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such a document without the accompanying information will be considered to be non-responsive to this request without further consideration. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
