- NA Main Access Control Point Ft Irwin, San Bernadino County, California Invitation for Bid This is an 8(a) competitive procurement. The project consists of modernization of the Main Access Control Point for Fort Irwin to meet DOD requirements for force protection. The project shall consist of extensive site improvement work to provide 4 lanes o f vehicular traffic with a separate lane for large vehicles. Project Scope includes and additional 3 guard booths on concrete pads, CCTV Cameras to monitor all ACP lanes, sufficient lighting both in approaches and in the immediate inspection areas to pro vide for adequate surveillance of vehicular traffic during hours of darkness, necessary standby power generation with sufficient capacity to power all communication equipment, as well lighting in the approach areas and the immediate inspection areas. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $28.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000. And $5,000,000. The Government intends to issue this solicitation as Internet only. No additional media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. It is therefore the contractor??????s responsi bility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after Solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs .spl.usace.army.mil. All bidders are required to check the Los Angeles District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. All contractor are encouraged to visit the Army??????s Single Face to Industry website at http://acquisition.army.mil/default.htm to view other business opportunities across the Army. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government Contract award. To register, the CCR Internet ad dress is: http://www.ccr.gov. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must register to be placed on the plan holders?????? list. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible to providing you with n otification of any changes to this solicitation. Bidders shall register themselves on the Internet. Each bidder, after registering for this solicitation should verify his or her name appears on the Plan Holders?????? List for this project. Plans and Spe cs will be available on or about 19 JUN 2003. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has determined that, for this procurement, competition will be restricted to eligible 8(a) contractors serviced by the Santa Ana District Office of the SBA which have a NAICS code 236220 among their approved NAICS codes.
