- Project title could not be edited for correction. It should read Repair Boniface Gate and Government Hill Gate, AT/FP, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, tools, and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. Work consists of but is not limited to: For both gates: construct an overwatch facility to include all support utility work, Hydraulic Barrier System, center curb and gutter demolition and new work pertaining to the center island area; construct traffic controls to include all curbing, lane dividing concrete islands, roadwork and swing gates, and berms; construct vehicle inspection facility to include all roadwork, curbs, islands, bollards and access roads, along with supporting utility work; Boniface Gate upgrade to include the visitor center, parking lot, sidewalks, gates, fencing and all work related to the repair of the Main Guard Shack, construct canopy to include all islands located underneath the canopy and utility support; Government Hill Gate upgrade to include construction of the Main Guard Shack, canopy, sidewalks, gates, fencing, demolition of the existing guard shack and islands. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. Performance period is 360 calendar days, 180 days per gate with gates to be accomplished in phases. Solicitation will be available on or about 16 Jun 03 with a closing date of 16 Jul 03. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation portion and any amendments will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov Specifications and Drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. There is no cost for the package. There is a limited supply and will be given out on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. (Only one package per company.) Package will be sent upon written request. Request shall include mailing address, phone and fax number, and size of business. This project is open to both large and small business and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A subcontracting plan shall be required for Large businesses.
