Description

This is a synopsis for the purchase of Cadet Footlockers for the United States Air Force Academy cadets. Cadet Footlockers shall be manufactured in accordance with USAF Academy PD 34 TRW/SDCU-0001, 5 December 2002 specifications. The proposed contract will be a commercial, firm fixed price requirements contract with a basic period (1 Jan 04 through 31 Dec 04) and 4 one-year options. Estimated yearly quantities are 1300 each. Exact quantities will be provided no later than 15 Jun of each year. Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840 NET the 15th of October and NLT 15th of November each year. Delivery for these cadet footlockers will be staggered to allow for adequate storage space. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value to include past performance. This proposed contract listed here is set aside for small businesses. Request for Proposal F05611-03-R-0040 will be available on or about 13 June 2003. The solicitation and specifications will be posted on the electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov, which you download the solicitation. No hard copies will be available. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 316911 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. Woman-owned, disabled veteran-owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit offers.
