- Description
- This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for the upcoming competitive acquisition for United States Air Force Academy diplomas. The requirement is for a base year, and four option years, and requires the supply of plaque style diploma, which includes the use of a .050 thickness plate, with a high shine satin finish, made of the highest quality nickel-silver (18% CDA #C770) mounted on a solid walnut board. The text to appear on the diploma must be professionally screen printed on the plate in black lettering, to include the name of each graduate, the degree earned, and other text as designated by the Academy. The estimated quantity to be ordered by 31 January each year is 1000 (each), to be delivered by 30 April each year. The NAICS is 453998 and the SIC is 5999. This notice is designed to locate responsible sources who have an interest, and have the ability to supply the items as in supplying the items as described herein. Responsible vendors who are interested may contact Sheila R. Garrett, USAFA Contracting Specialist, via email at sheila.garrett@usafa.af.mil, by 4 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, 24 JUNE 2003. Interested vendors must provide the company's name, a point of contact, contact information, and the size of the business (e.g., small, large) and the DUNNS number. The vendor is encouraged to submit a product sample by the date listed above. Only responsible suppliers need respond. NOTE: Specifications that are more detailed will accompany the solicitation. ** No telephone responses, please.
