- Description
- It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) to procure the positions of two (2) GI NIH Fellowship to offer support for the collaborative effort between NIH and Georgetown University. These positions will be provided on a sole source basis with Georgetown University, 4000 Reservoir Road, NW, Building D, Suite 177, Washington, DC 20007 under the authority of FAR 6.302. Residents must be graduates of an accredited medical school and have satisfactorily completed an internship approved by the Council on Medial Education. Residents must have completed two or three years of graduate medical training and be approved by the Medical Staff Affairs Office, Clinical Center, NIH. The Statement of Work shall be provided with the Request for Quote. The Institute intends to purchase the services by other than full and open competition from Georgetown University. Interested vendors may identify in writing their interest with a capability statement to the Contracting office prior to the closing date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NIDDK-03-925 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of the synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten days (10) after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is June 30, 2003. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing and may be FAXED to 301-480-4226. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Patricia Haun. FAX quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
