- Description
- The work shall consist of completing an analysis of existing irrigation systems and providing recommended alternatives for system improvements on up to three potential Colorado River Salinity Control Areas. The analysis will include irrigation delivery systems and on farm irrigation improvement needs. The study areas will encompass approximately 10,000 acres of irrigated land each. The respondent must be licensed as a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, and demonstrate the ability to become certified as a Technical Service Provider (TSP) for Irrigation Systems, Irrigation Water Conveyance, Water Conveyance (pipelines); Water Supply Facilities; and Water Wells within 45 days of contract award. The selection criteria are: 1) Professional Qualifications, 2) Specialized experience and technical competence, 3) Capacity to accomplish work, 4) Past Performance, 5) Location in the area and knowledge of the locality of the project. Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. More than one contract may be awarded within a watershed boundary. Projects will be ordered on an as-needed basis beginning from the date of contract award for a period not to exceed three years.
