Description

DESC: TREE PRUNING The Colville National Forest requires Tree Pruning services on approximately 613 acres on the Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts. Location of the work is in Pend Oreille and Stevens Counties, Washington, located in the NE portion of Washington State. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman?s compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the tree pruning. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity contract. Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and a Washington State Farm/Forest Labor License are required. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 20, 2003. The contract period of performance is from date of award through September 30, 2004. Estimated start work date for the first task order is on or about August 4, 2003. Task Orders will be placed when funding is available and sites are ready. Quotes are estimated to be due July 11, 2003. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS code is 115310, size standard $6.0 million.
