The router network frame (chassis) shall support connectivity of 512 audio channels. All frame slots shall be hot swappable and interchangeable with any module slot in the router frame without disruption in service. The router shall contain, at a minimum, one system clock, however a redundant clock bus providing additional fault tolerance would be beneficial. The router frame shall contain dual power supplies; router and system configuration shall remain constant following a power disruption and subsequent restoration of power. Dimensions: The router frame, containing all audio signal modules and control modules, shall be mountable in a standard 19" wide equipment rack. Frame height shall not exceed 8 rack units (RU). D.
