- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire carpet and vinyl core installation services utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 on a total small business set-aside basis in support of the Naval Inventory Control Point, Building 312, north and north-center firebays, Mechanicsburg, PA. A firm fixed price purchase order is contemplated with services commencing 23 June 2003 with a completion date of 14 July 2003. Approximately 6,200 square yards of carpet will be provided as Government-furnished material (GFM). Contractor must supply adhesive and may need to perform very minor floor preparation work. The contractor must also supply approximately 3,600 lineal feet of vinyl cove base and install in accordance with the NAVICP floor plan. Work should be completed during normal working hours. Price is considered to be the sole evaluation factor for the proposed acquisition. A site visit will be held upon request.
