- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center is interested in locating sources that can meet the following salient characteristics with existing commercially available equipment. The minimum specs for the Plasma Screen are: 42 inch plasma screen (measured diagonally); Horizontal frequency greater than 100KHZ; NIC card that is 802.11b compliant; Resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels; Wide, 160 degree viewing angle; Inputs signal sources include composite, s-video, component, DTV, HDTV, and data up to UXGA resolution. Currently, one model has been identified that meets these characteristics. It is the Sony PFM-42B2 with Sony Network Adaptor BKM-B30NW and Sony Component Video Input Adaptor BKM-B12. Sources capable of providing equipment that meets the above specs must provide sufficiently detailed documentation/descriptive literature that clearly represents that these specs will be met.
