- Reference: Combined synopsis/soliciation posted 19 May 2003. THE DUE DATE FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING EXTENDED. ALL OFFERS ARE DUE NLT 3:00 PM ON 5 JUNE 2003. ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Polycom ViewStation FX System. (Manufacturer's part number: 2200-20323-001). Includes Country Kit - i.e. power cord for US standard plus a Language Kit, i.e. remote control device for use in US. Polycom Viewstation FX Quad BRI interface Module. (Manufacturer's part number 2215-10646-001) Polycom Visual Concert FX (North America) (Manufacturer's part number 2200-10500-001) 50 Inch Plasma Display. Pioneer PDP-503CMX plasma display or equivalent. To be considered an equivalent product the display bit must have the following features: a.Screen Size: Minimum of 50 inches diagonal; b.Resolution: 1280 x 768; c.Aspect Ratio: 16:9; d.Colors: 16 million; e.Power: AC 100 - 120V, 50/60Hz; f.Resolution capabilities: FGA, SVGA, XGA,SXGA; g.Control panel: onboard and remote; h.Operating Temperature: 32 deg. F to 104 deg. F; i.Operating Humidity: 20% - 80%; j.Input 1: Mini D-sub 15-pin (RGB Signal); k.Input 2 BNC x 5 (RGB signal); l.Capability to add an optional video card with those features identified in Item 5 below or else having those feature integrated into the basic plasma display; m.Warranty: one year parts and labor. Optional Video card for plasma display. The video card to be supplied will be dependent upon the particular plasma display proposed by the vendor. The video card must provide capability for specific video inputs and also provide split screen capability on the Plasma display. The combined inputs available either on the plasma display itself or on the plasma display and associated video card must be as follows: a. Input 1: Mini D-sub 15-pin (RGB Signal); b.Input 2 BNC x 5 (RGB signal); c.Antenna input (cable TV, etc); d.Video/S-video input (DVD, VCR, etc.); e.RGB/YpbPR input (Computer, Component Sources, etc.; f.RF input (Remote Control); g.Hi-Res Picture-In-Picture (PIP) capabilities such as Side-by-Side images, Translucent PIP, Multi-image PIP; The video card need not be bid if the plasma display includes the above connections as part of the standard configuration. Powered Speakers. Bose or other vendor's high performance speaker. Speaker must connect to audio output connector on the Polycom ViewStation FX System. The size of the speaker system must be such that it can be physically attached to or positioned inside the plasma cart (See Item 7 below). The speaker should be situated behind a decorative grill on the cart or appear contiguous with the card design. Plasma Cart with power strip. The cart supplied by the vendor must satisfy the following criteria: a.Accommodate the plasma display propose by the vendor; b.Have a shelf to accommodate the Polycom ViewStation FX system unless the FX system is mounted on the Plasma display; c.Accommodate the Bose speaker system supplied by the vendor; d.Have wheels that allow the unit to be easily moved; e.Have a power strip capable of supporting a least six electrical connections; f.Have an enclosed area that will accommodate the bose speaker, DVD/VHS player and the NT3 network terminator. ISDN Quad BRI Network Terminator Device This device must at a minimum provide the following capability: a.Provide the network termination for 2B1Q ISDN Basic Rate interface; b.Support four ISDN BRI circuits for 512Kbps input to the Polycom ViewStation FX system; c.Be configured with two types of interface connectors, U and S/T. "U" interface for connection to the Central Office and the "S/T" interface for connection to the ViewStation FX system ; d.Three configurable terminal impedances: A.100 ohms (default), B.50 Ohm C.0 Ohm; e. Include any required external power supply DVD/VHS Device: This device must provide the following minimum capability: a.4 head VCR hi-fi design b.Front and rear A/V inputs c.Compatible with a variety of video and tape media e.g. VHS tapes, audio and video CD's, DVD, d.Remote control e.Composite video output: 2 f.S-video output: 1 50 ft. SVHS - SVHS cable. This is a 50' cable is to allow an S-Video to S-Video connection between the Polycom ViewStation FX and a ceiling mounted projector located in the ESC/AE conference room.
