Description

AIRCRAFT TRAINING SERVICES, L-39ZA. The 412 Test Wing at Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for contractor provided aircraft training services for a 6 month basic period of performance with one six month option period. Minimum aircraft flying hours are 100, maximum flying hours are 175 during this 6 month period. The contractor shall provide an Aero Vodochody L-39ZA Albatross aircraft for training services to include all equipment, personnel, supplies and maintenance to support sortie generation requirements of the 412 Test Wing. The contractor shall provide Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications in maintenance and manpower required to accomplish a turnkey operation with minimum/no U.S. Government support. The contractor shall provide initial qualification training for staff instructor pilots and follow on training as required. The contractor shall develop and maintain a training and lesson plan approved by 412 Test Wing. The anticipated contract type is fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This acquisition is being set-aside 100% for small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 24 Mar 03.
