- Description
- This is a sole source solicitation for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for the supplies listed in Section B (see listing of NSNs below) for DLA stock locations and military customers around the world. Contract Scope: The supplies covered by this contract are spare or replacement parts for pneumatic and hydraulic rack and pinion actuators which are currently shown as being sole source to items to Flo-Tork (Cage Code: 07270). 55 sole source items to Flo-Tork are included in this grouping (please see below). Award will be made on an ALL OR NONE BASIS per NSN for the supplies covered under this contract. It is currently projected that a mix of stock and Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) orders will be issued. Type of contract: The United States Government (USG) will award a firm fixed price contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer / quote, which shall be considered. Copies of the solicitation are available at the office address above or by faxing (614) 693-1558 or e-mailing joseph.locke@dla.mil and will not be available until 15 days after this notice is published in the CDB. Requests shall include the company name, cage code, address and solicitation number. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are NOT AVAILABLE. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one of more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 10 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestrictive, technical data, therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) 1. Approved sources are Flo-Tork. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
