- Description
- The solicitation CD is now available to all those who have submitted the Document Security Notice To Prospective Bidders/Offerors with the requested attachments. Proposals are due in this office on June 16, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Chicago time. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the cleaning, repair and/or replacement of the granite pavers and curbs, anchors, joint sealant, metal flashing, weep holes/vents, rubber sheeting and protection course material in order to restore the decking and surface to its original condition. Work is to be located at all of the following buildings: E.M. Dirksen, 219 S. Dearborn St., Chicago IL; John C. Kluczynski, 230 S. Dearborn St. Chicago IL; Metcalf Federal Building, 77 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL; and the USPO Loop Station, 211 S. Clark St., Chicago IL. Contract completion time is 120 calendar days from the receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is a negotiated procurement -- NOT a sealed bid, and is a Full and Open contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 with a small business size of $28.5 million. The estimated cost range is between $1,250,000 and $1,750,000. The solicitation Compact Disc (CD) will be available on or about 03/19/2003. General Services Administration, PBS, Great Lakes Region, Property Management Division, Contract Services Branch, 5PMC, no longer issues construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fedbizopps.com. This particular solicitation includes Sensitive, but Unclassified building information (SBU). For reasons of security, before the release of any SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors form. In addition, all of the following information must be submitted and/or provided by the requester via the spaces provided in the attached Notice: 1) copy of business license, 2) company?s Dun & Bradstreet number, 3) valid Tax Identification Number (TIN). In addition, a valid picture state driver?s license is required for anyone wishing to pick up the SBU documents in person. No telephonic or e-mail requests will be accepted; however facsimiles (FAX) will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the solicitation will be release in CD form to the requester. Potential offerors must ensure that requests include the address to which the CD is to be sent.
