- NA The work consists of raising existing perimeter levee in east cell of Clinton Placement Area and constructing new perimeter along Mercury Drive in east cell (approx.415,000 CY). Construct new drainage ditches along Mercury Drive. Remove existing spillway structure and install a new structure. The estimated completion time is 250 calendar days. This will be a sealed-bid procurement, 100% set-aside for competitive 8(a) contractors in Region 6 ONLY. Region 6 includes Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Joint Ventures must be certified and approved by the Small Business Administration in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. The estimated cost range is between $5 million and $10 million. The North American Indust rial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. I t is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Inte rnet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
