- Description
- The U. S. Air Force, 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill, AFB anticipates purchasing police protection from Hillsborough County Sheriff?s Office, 2008 E. 8th Ave., Tampa, Florida 33601, as a sole source, with the following qualifications: The contractor shall provide one (1) Law Enforcement Officer and one (1) Law Enforcement vehicle/cruiser, per location, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at several locations to be determined. It is required to have 24/7 Law Enforcement presences above and beyond what is normally afforded individuals living in the local area, similar to military force protection procedures. The contractor is required to be a certified police officer, with the full authority to arrest, search, hold, and control, with force if necessary, any offensive actions within the laws. Contractor must possess full county, State, and Federal law enforcement accreditation.
