- Description
- The Air force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commerical Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. of Plano, Texas, for Vega Prime, GL Studio and MultiGen Creator software support and upgrade. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7371. The NAICS Code is 511210. This procurement is for support pf the 412th Test Wing/OL-AB, in Fort Worth, Texas, an operating location of the Electronic Warfare Directorate at Edwards AFB, CA, to support test efforts at the Air Force Electronic Warefare Evaluation Simulator. The following items will be procured: Vega Prime, GS Studio, and MultiGen Creator software support and upgrade. Provision of software support for MultiGen-Paradigm Flight Executable include the following: 1. vp_base_dev (Vega Prime Development Environment) 2. vp_fx_dev (Vega Prime FX Development Environment) 3. glstudio_dev (GL Studio 2.0) 4. MGCRE-MOD-FLT-PC (Creator for Windows) Telephone/on-line technical support on software installation, setup, operation, and integration of model options. Software updates of all new releases for the period of performance. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without FAR 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is June 3, 2003. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 3:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 2, 2003. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKS (Tamia True), 5 S. Wolfe Ave., Building 2800, Edwards AFB CA 93524-1185. FAX 661-275-9677. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 7 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be place on a mailing list will not be honored.
