- Description
- This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS is 23332. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to provide the removal of parking spaces to adhere to the DOD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards, demo pavement in new building footprint, demo pavement inside set off distance, demo sidewalks, demo storm sewer inside building footprint, new storm sewer lines, manholes, drop inlets, etc. Relocate post indicator valve and water lines, tie new downspounts into storm sewer, new access control gate for access road, new curbing, new sidealks, access road, excavation/backfilling, landscaping around new curbs and sidewalks, new steel framing, cmu walls with concrete stucco finish, interior metal stud walls, raised computer floor, and EPDM roofing with tapered insulation. Some modifications shall be done to the existing chilled water system pumps, process water system pumps, and plate heat exchanger. One 13.8/4.16kv-120/208 volt 500 KVA transformer is required to meet the specified load requirements. The 480 volt and 115 volt delta power requirements will be provided using existing 1510 electrical infrastructure and incidental related work. This will be a fixed price construction contract. The estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. It is anticipated that the solicitation document IFB N62477-03-B-2524 will be available o/a 23 May 2003. The solicitation will provide the specific requirements for submission of bids. Interested parties can obtain a copy of the solicitation via www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The website is free and provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. Potential bidders will be responsible for downloading a copy of the solicitation, and also for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation amendments. The closing date and time for receipt of bids will be o/a 25 June 2003 at 2:00 p.m. The date, time and location of the pre-bid conference will be provided in the solicitation. You are encouraged to sign up for the pre-bid conference using the esol website listed herein.
