Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ is seeking information from industry for information for a Gaseous Oxygen Servicing Cart designed to service gaseous Oxygen systems on US Navy aircraft. The design and performance characteristics of the Gaseous Oxygen Servicing Cart are as follows: Unit designed to store and dispenses MIL-PRF-27210 Oxygen gas; Unit shall be capable of storing a minimum of 1800 cubic foot of Oxygen gas at 2400 PSIG; Unit shall be trailer mounted and tow able; Materials used in the construction of the unit, which will contact Oxygen, shall be selected using the guidance provided in ASTM G63 and ASTM G94; Components, which will contact Oxygen, shall be cleaned in accordance with ASTM G93; The dispensing pressure of the Oxygen gas shall be capable of being regulated between 50 and 1800 PSIG; and The unit shall be designed for use in the following ambient conditions: -25 to 120 Deg F, salt-laden environments with relative humidity up to 95%, rain with wind blowing up to 40 MPH. This RFI seeks the following information: Brochures/drawings/technical manuals for a Gaseous Oxygen Cart that will meet the requirements; Approximate unit cost; Company profile, information such as: product lines, company size, and previous military contract experiences; and Availability of unit for delivery. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.202 (e), responses to this notice are not an offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
