Description
Sources Sought: The USCG ELC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for the purchase of various parts for the AN/SPS-73 Radar. These parts consists of: (1) NSN 5998-01-477-1985, P/N 1720573-104 CCA, Interface, (2) 5998-01-503-3380, P/N 1721817-102 CCA, Radar scan converter, (3) 5998-01-503-3382, P/N 17211818-102, CCA Radar Data Extractor, (4) 5975-01-475-7901, P/N 1721795 Junction Box, (5) 5998-01-479-1768, P/N 1720575-101, CCA, Radar Con/Conv, (6) NSN 5975-01-475-7692, P/N 1722037-100, (7) 5998-01-477-1863 P/N 1720573-105, and (8) 5998-01-475-8535, p/n 1720556. The USCG ELC does not possess the manufacturer engineering drawings, test procedures or test specification. Raytheon Electronics Systems, 1050 NE Hostmark Street, Poulsbo, WA 98370 is the original equipment manufacturer and possess all the proprietary data. The term of the resultant contract is anticipated as a base plus four (1) one year options. Therefore, it is the Government's belief that only Raytheon can provide these parts. Interested parties having the expertise and capabilities are invited to submit detailed information discussing their capabilities regarding these parts within fifteen days of this announcement. No cost or pricing data is required and this IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government does not intend to pay for this information solicited. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demostrate their capabilities to meet the requirement. NUMBERED NOTE 22 & 26. ATTENTION: Minority, women-owned and Disadvantagaed Business Enterprises (DBE's). The Department of Transportation (DOT), short term lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receiveable for transportation related contracts.
