- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Maritime Surveillance Associates, Inc. (MSA), on an other than full and open competitive basis for Systems Analysis Support for the Advanced Technology Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Beartrap program. This requirement provides technical support service to Project Beartrap with an operational copy of Automatic Quick Look (AQL) Upgrade version 1.0 software and serve as the software support activity (SSA) repairing all Software trouble reports (STR?s). Delivery of the AQL Upgrade Post Mission Processor as well as providing subsequent SSA is required. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for the procurement of these support services. This requirement is being procured under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. MSA has developed a design and is in the process of developing a prototype-integrated system that will meet the post mission analysis for Beartrap. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
