NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DABJ05-03-T-0520. CLIN 0001- JMS-GCMATEII MASS SPECTROMETER Standard Instr ument Configuration Includes: High resolution double-focusing ion optics bench; Electron impact ionization source and chemical ion source; Positive and negative ion detection;Resolution greater than 5,000 (20% valley definition); Mass range of 1,000u at 2. 5 kilovolt acceleration potential; High sensitivity ion optics with multiple quadrupole-based focusing lens for beam correction and simplified instrument tuning; Fully laminated magnet capable of scanning at a rate of 0.07 seconds/decade; Microprocessor b ased control GC/MS interface and heated sample/reference reservoir inlet; Fully automated self-protected differential pumping vacuum system; Agilent 6890+ gas chromatograph with capillary column interface; Turbomolecular pump based vacuum system Instrument table for GCMATE; Data System Hardware: 1.8GHz P4 processor with 512kb Cache, 512Mb RAM, 80 Gb Hard Drive, 1.44Mb Floppy Drive, CD-RW, 10/100baseT ethernet, 17inch( 17inch viewable) flat panel monitor, Mouse and keyboard, Windows 2000 operating system, laserjet printer and cables SOFTWARE: The Shrader System for Windows; Peak profile display program for use in real-time instrument tuning; Acquisition, calibration, display and plot capabilities; TIC and mass chromatogram display and plotting capabilities; Integration for mas s chromatograms and TIC; Selection ion monitoring data acquisition and reduction; Data processing routines include provisions for background subtraction, averaging spectra and background, and QA/QC reporting and automatic bridge to NIST library search rout ines (NIST mass spectral database optional); Maintenance routine for managing data, reference and calibration files; High Resolution/Accurate Mass Programs: Calibration and spectral recording routines which generate full scan accurate mass spectra.
