Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, F45613-03-Q-B011, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13 dated 16 April 03. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 423220. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This project is 100% Set-Aside for HUBZone Business Concerns. Unit Small Business specialist is Ms. Marion Nelson (509) 247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov; link to public information: http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. A not to exceed purchase order will be awarded with a performance period from 10 Jun 03 to 30 Sep 03. The contractor shall multiple deliveries of an estimated total of 740 tons of Washington State Department of Transportation approved 6? ballast rock, 2970 tons of Washington State Department of Transportation approved 3/4? or 5/8? base course, and 5200 tons of Washington State Department of Transportation approved 2? minus with fines to the Cusick Command Post, Tacoma Creek Road, WA. The rock is to be dumped on Tacoma Creek Road from 4 miles up Tacoma Creek Road to 13 miles up Tacoma Creek Road (a total distance of 9 miles). The government will determine the quantity, size of rock and the exact delivery location at the site with each individual delivery. The contractor shall be available to deliver rock within 24 hours of notification by the Government. The rock shall be delivered between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
