- Description
- Provide paving services at Scott AFB IL, to include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for pavement works associated with the repair and construction of runways, taxiways, aircraft aprons, streets, parking lots and sidewalks. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237310 and the size standard of $28.5 million applies. The approximate performance period is from 2 August 2003 through 2 August 2004, plus four one-year option periods. This will be a competitive best value source selection in which competing offerors? past and present performance history will be evaluated on a basis approximately equal to cost or price considerations. The magnitude of this project shall not exceed $15,000,000 over a five-year period. This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Office no later than ten (10) days after publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers (d) Your available bonding for this project. All the above must be submitted in sufficient detail within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The entire solicitation including the specifications and drawings will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov, the solicitation can be accessed by the following links at the EPS/DOD website: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB, IL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and for any other pertinent information. Potential offerors should download their own copies of the solicitation package. Potential offerors must register at http://www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and /or changes to the solicitation. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr2000.com/. Release of the solicitation will be via the Internet only. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
