- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13.5). The requirement is to provide one OPAG 22 OPEN PATH FTIR system or equal item. The system shall include the following options at a minimum: receiver telescope, transmitter telescope, telescope transport and storage container, ZN SE beam splitter fast scan option, resolution extension to .5 CM-1 black body for calibration acquisition processor, OPUS-NT/IR software, IRIS evaluation software and an appropriate training course/materials. This system will be delivered to Patrick AFB, FL. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0144 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3826, business size of 500 Employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334516. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 19 May 2003 at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax, or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
