Description
HQ Standard Systems Group, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex is seeking qualified vendors capable of providing computer system operations and maintenance support for the Air Force Logistics systems. This support must include system administration, assured computing and backup and recovery processes to include off site storage of backup media as a minimum. Interested vendors may provide information pertaining to all or any portion of these systems. A detailed system data matrix may be obtained by contacting Mr. Doug Burkhart at (334) 416-6674, or via email at Douglas.Burkhart@gunter.af.mil. A copy of the system data matrix will be provided via e-mail. The data will be provided in the form of reports segmented as follows: "System Description" provides a summary of each system's function and the scope of its user community. "Mainframe Systems" "Client-Server Systems" "Web Enabled Systems" "Stand Alone Systems" and "Other Architectures" provides the hardware, software, and database specifics for each system by basic architectural category. "Interfaces" provides information on how these systems interrelate. (NOTE: Some inter-relationships exist with systems not listed). All interfaces are required and should be considered an integral part of this requirement. "Compliance Part 1" "2" and "3" shows each program's forecasted migration to modernized technologies respectfully. Interested vendors should submit their capabilities information to HQ SSG/ILIB, Chief, Corporate Enterprise Office, Logistics Integration Division, 200 E. Moore Drive (Bldg. 888), Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex AL 36114-3004. The submission should include the past performance history for similar projects performed within the last two years. It should describe the key factors in addressing these requirements, e.g., functional knowledge, current engineering skills, and use of automated tools. Submissions must specify whether the firm is a large business, small business, very small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business or service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Also, specify if the firm is U.S. or foreign-owned. All responses should be received on or before June 15, 2003. The Air Force may hold technical interchange meeting with vendors who submit a response to this Request for Information. No solicitation will be generated or contract awarded as a result of this request. Additionally, the Air Force will not pay for any information, documentation, and/or data submitted in response to this request for information.
