- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and incidental supplies necessary for Asphalt Pavement Repairs at recreation areas on the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County, Kentucky. Work will take place at three locations and will include, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Twin Knobs Recreation Area ? work includes bituminous patch work, bituminous overlays, shoulder work, and concrete pavement at various locations on approximately 5.5 miles of the road system in the recreation area; 2) Scott?s Creek Boat Ramp ? work includes asphalt seal coat treatments, bituminous patch work, pavement striping, and concrete pavement; and 3) Alfrey Boat Ramp ? work includes asphalt seal coat treatments, bituminous patch work, pavement striping, and concrete pavement. The Technical Contact for this project is Scott Matheny at 859-745-3168. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held at a date, time and location to be shown in the solicitation. This project will be solicited using sealed bidding procedures and a 20% bid bond will be required. The dollar range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be made available both electronically and hard copy. The solicitation documents may include full-size drawings/plans that will be made available hard copy only.
