Description

The Defense Distribution Center intends to place an order with Alexeter Technologies LLC for upgrade to reader maintenance and test strips to Government owned Guardian BTA System Optical Reader #R-4001. Alexeter Technologies is the sole authorized distributor for Tetracore BTA Products. Tetracore is the only known manufacturer for replacement Test Strips for Guardian Reader System. Test strips provide initial field testing for Anthrax, Ricin, BotTox, SEB, Plague, Tularemia, and Brucella. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No formal solicitation document exists. However, all information received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by this agency. A determination by the Government not to compete with proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
