- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotations; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation Number RFQ030029 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 316991 and the small business size standard is 500. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for the following: Line Item No. 0001: Quantity of eight (8) Hardigg Part No. AL4824-1604 cases, color: black, with a hinged lid, air tight with breather valve, lockable cable hasp, edge casters, foam insert modification. Case approximately 58 lbs. in weight; approximate inside dimensions: 48?L x 24?W x 20?H. Line Item No. 0002: Quantity of six (6) Hardigg Part No. AL2221-0605 cases, color: black, with a hinged lid, air tight with breather valve, lockable cable hasp, edge casters, foam insert modification. Case approximately 27 lbs. in weight; approximate inside dimensions: 22?L x 21?W x 11?H. Line Item No. 0003: Quantity of five (5) Hardigg Part No. AL2423-0904 case, color: black, with a hinged lid, air tight with breather valve, lockable cable hasp, edge casters, foam insert modification. Case approximately 28 lbs. in weight; approximate inside dimensions: 24?L x 23?W x 13?H. Line Item No. 0006: Quantity of ten (10) Hardigg Part No. AL1616-1004 Cases, color: black, pull foam, press and pull latches, soft grip handles, watertight riveted seal, vortex valve, lockable clasp, 2 ?? x 1? wheels with bearings and retractable handle, and lifetime guarantee. Interior dimensions: 16?L x 16?W x 14?H. Line Item No. 0007: Quantity of forty (40) Hardigg Storm IM2750 Cases, color: black, pull foam, press and pull latches, soft grip handles, watertight riveted seal, vortex valve, lockable clasp, 2 ?? x 1? wheels with bearings and retractable handle, and lifetime guarantee. Exterior dimensions: 24.6?L x 19.7?W x 14.4?H. Line Item No. 0008: Quantity of ten (10) Hardigg Storm IM2950 Cases, color: black, pull foam, press and pull latches, soft grip handles, watertight riveted seal, vortex valve, lockable clasp, 2 ?? x 1? wheels with bearings and retractable handle, and lifetime guarantee. Exterior dimensions: 31.3?L x 20.4?W x 12.2?H. Line Item No. 0009: Quantity of twenty (20) Hardigg Storm IM2500, color: black, pull foam, press and pull latches, soft grip handles, watertight riveted seal, vortex valve, lockable clasp, 2 ?? x 1? wheels with bearings and retractable handle, and lifetime guarantee. Exterior dimensions: 21.7?L x 14.1?W x 8.9?H. Each Hardigg Storm IM2500 shall include and carry within a custom black nylon padded camera case with a padded shoulder strap, front and side accessory pockets, interior pockets, adjustable dividers and reinforced bottom; exterior dimensions: 12?L x 7.5?W x 7.5?H. Delivery is required within sixty (60) days from award for all line items. The Contractor shall deliver items, FOB Destination, with all freight included in the delivered price, to a location located in Landover, MD 20785. Technical descriptions and/or brochures on each offered item should be included with the offeror?s quotation to allow the USSS to determine that it is technically acceptable per the specification. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Paragraph (a) insert: ?The Government intends to award firm, fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror, whose proposal, conforming to the Solicitation as provided herein, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price; technical capability; and past performance. For evaluation of technical capability, the offeror shall provide technical descriptions on each offered item, in order to determine whether it is technically acceptable per the specification. For evaluation of past performance, the offeror shall provide at least three references for contracts/purchase orders of similar products/services within the last year. Each reference must include customer?s name and address, contact person, project name, date of performance, telephone number and contract value for each reference. If business entity establishment is less than one (1) year, provide related experience of key personnel. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are equal in importance to price.? 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
