- Description
- Provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to provide elevator maintenance service for the Abingdon Federal Building in Abingdon, VA. The contract base period will be for one year with a 1-year option period, two 2-year option periods and one 3-year option period, for a total of 9 years. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238290 and the size standard is $12 million. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted. The estimated start date for services will be August 1, 2003. All contractor personnel will be required to obtain security clearances prior to working on this project. The solicitation will be available approximately June 2, 2003 either electronically or hard copy. Prior to issuance of the specifications, contractors must comply with the Document Security Notice by completing it and returning it to the address below. Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Contractors interested in obtaining a copy of the solicitation specification package must provide the following information, some of which is required by the Document Security Notice: Solicitation Number and Title of Project, Complete Address, Point of Contact, Area code and phone number, Area code and fax number, E-mail address, copy of the company's valid business license, Duns number, valid driver's license (if picking up the solicitation package), identify whether the firm is a prime contractor, sub-contractor or supplier, indicate whether the firm is a small business, small disadvantaged business, large business and if the firm is a women owned business or veteran owned business. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPS) web page at www.eps.gov.
