Description
NA The U.S. Army Health Care Acquisition Activity, Center for Health Care Contracting, Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a lease operation of turnkey mobile units for Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging servic es, at Ft Huachuca, AZ. The Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center (RWBAHC) at Ft Huachuca, AZ requires a contractor to provide a turnkey operation, via a monthly lease contract, to provide mobile units of Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with all equipm ent, supplies, maintenance, and personnel inclusive. Scope of work will include examinations of all body parts that can be scanned with mobile MRI or CT units. This is a non-personnel services contract. Flat monthly rate or a fee for scan shall apply an d may be changed at the annual renewal of the option years of the contract at the discretion of the government. Period of performance is one base year (approximately 1 Jul 03 through 30 Sep 03) and four option years. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the service providers shall meet and maintain the operating standards for MRI and CT technologists as prescribed by the most current regulations and instructions, as applicable: professio nal requirements of the American College of Radiologists and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) and the RWBAHC clinical rules and procedures. Equipment requirements are as follows: The Siemens 1.0 Impact Magnetic Res onance System or equal will be required and the GE Fxi Helical CT System (without a camera) in a mobile trailer or equal will be required and both will require upgrades and must be able to perform required specifications outlined in the PWS. Contractor s hall provide a climate control mechanism to seal the mobile unit in order to protect patients from cold, rain or inclement weather conditions; and appropriate footing or support, if required. Unit shall have an intercom system between the control room and the scanning room. The contractor must provide transportation and installation of the mobile unit to include preparation to receive LAN and power connections from the government. The contractor must provide, at no additional cost to RWBAHC, all services to include parts and labor and preventive maintenance/repairs as recommended by the original equipment (OEM) specifications for the mobile units, CT and MRI equipment. Personnel requirements are as follows: Proof of certification or documentation will be provided upon request from the Contracting Officer or authorized representative of qualifications of all professionals providing services under the contract including documentation of certificates, recent related experience, specialized experiences, train ing, awards and publications. Hours of performance will be determined by patient workload and the RWBAHC Radiology Department. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. Solicitation number is DADA10-03-T-0061 and will be issued on or about 21 May 20003. Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity.
