- This is a market survey and request for information only. A Screenin= g Information Request is not applicable. The purpose of this market survey= is to identify potential vendors that can offer a commercial off the shelf= (COTS), non-developmental item (NDI), fiber optic multiplexer with the des= ired features listed in the attached Market Survey Form. This market surve= y is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for= proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire this item. = FAA will not pay for any direct or indirect costs or charges incurred by a= ny firm as a result of their submission of a response to this survey and th= e FAA's use of such information. Companies wishing to participate in this = market survey should complete the attached Microsoft Excel File "Market Sur= vey Form" and return the form in response to this survey. The Market Surve= y Form contains a check list of desired features the FAA has identified for= the fiber optic multiplexer along with a sheet that describes the features= in more detail. Interested firms are encouraged to provide as much inform= ation as possible in response to this market survey including: data sheets,= technical manuals, installation manuals, and user's guides.
