Description
The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide sleeping rooms, meeting space and meals for AmeriCorps VISTA Pre-Service Orientation and AC*VISTA Supervisors Training on 19-22 August, 2003. The following will be required: Beginning 19August 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Registration area in the lobby of the facility with 4 large tables, 2 easel with pad and trashcan. Vendor must have organic banquet service facilities. Dinner (served at 6:30 p.m.) for approximately 150 persons days 1-3 of training. Breakfast (served at 7:00 a.m.) for approximately 150 persons days 2-4 of training Lunch (served at 11:45 a.m.) for approximately 150 persons days 2-4 of training Morning break days 2 -4 for approximately 150. Morning breaks shall consist of coffee & tea. Afternoon break days 1-3, of coffee, tea, soft drink and light snacks for approximately 150. 10% of all meals are estimated to be kosher or vegetarian. All meeting space and breakout rooms should free of any obstructions or Visual impairments One large meeting room for approximately 150 people (rounds) days 1-4 Five breakout rooms will be needed to accommodate 4 rounds of 8 at each tables for days 2-4 All breakout rooms must be free of obstructions and free of excess noise. Sleeping rooms needed: 65 Double: 19-22 August, 03 and 30 Singles: 19-22 August 2003 Audiovisual equipment to consist of: (1) telephone at the registration desk and trashcan (3) easels, pads & markers in each breakout room, days 2-4 (1) Wireless hand held Mic. Days 1-4 (3) Monitor and VCR. (1) Overhead Projectors and screen in each breakout room, days 2-4 Federal Regulations require that any hotel/conference space contracted shall comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and the FEMA, Fire Prevention and Control Guidelines. All proposed prices must be inclusive. For example, audio-visual rentals and the cost of food must include gratuity if applicable. This announcement is for solicitation of proposals for upcoming training event. The solicitation number is PSOGAAUG03 and is issued as a request for a quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 02-05. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this requirement is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) Motels and the small business size standard is $5M. The provisions at 52.212.1, Instructions to Offers, Commercial, applies to this acquisition. This is best value procurement and evaluation of offers will be based on quality, past performance and price. References must be included with your offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following clauses listed in 52.212-5 (b) and (c) are included by reference: 52.222-21, 52.222-22, 52.222-23, 52.222-41, 52.225-3, and 52.232-34. Quotations must be submitted in writing, signed by a person authorized to negotiate on behalf of the vender with the Government and sent to the address in this announcement. Responses to this RFQ are due at the above office by COB, 9 June 2003. Only those venders located in down town or Airport area of Atlanta, GA need to respond.
