- SUBJECT: N?Recruiting Hardware US Navy SOL DE-N00600-03-Q-1384 DUE 05/13/2003 POC Rodger O Young, Contract Specialist, (202) 433-4345; Darien Dicamillo Contracting Officer, (202) 433-2051 CHANGE: Clauses 52.225-13, 52.225-15 and 52.225-16 have been added and solicatation extended to 05/20/2003. DESC: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.3 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is N00600-03-Q-1384, REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3699 The FSC Code is 4140. Size Standard is 500 specified). The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to provide 50,000 L.E.D fans. The following is the specification for the L.E.D Fans use for Recruiting Promotional, for US Navy. L.E.D. Fan, hand held, battery powered, blue Housing With Navy Logo and www.Navy.com, to include navy recruiting phone number 1-800-USA- Navy. L.E.D Fans will contain lights that flash in 60 different pattern, one right after the other in two colors red and green and housed in a translucent blue case with black accent. Imprint area 1? wide x 1-1/2? high, imprint in one location, packaging in poly bag. Delivery will be Millington TN, delivery FOB Destination by or before 7 July 2003. Acceptance will be at destination. The FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?s--Commercial Items (JUN 1999), applies to this acquisition and the following addenda to the provision paragraphs: (b)(4) In addressing the technical portion of this RFQ, .An SF 1449 is not included in the solicitation. Please go to the website identified below for a copy of the SF 1449 which must be signed and returned with quote. (ix) Refer to provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items(JAN 1999): the evaluation factors are technical approach, past performance and price. Award will be based on technical acceptability(with sample provided to Government if requested), and lowest price.
