- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed price and time and material provisions for open and inspect, overhaul, and repair maintenance services of Tennant 550DN Flight Deck Scrubbers, as required by the Navy Public Works Center (PWC), Norfolk VA. This solicitation will be issued under full and open competition after exclusion of sources, in accordance with, FAR subpart 6.2. FAR clause 52.217-8 "Option to Extend Services," and FAR Clause 52.219-4 "Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns" shall be incorporated into the solicitation/contract. The resulting contract will be from the date of award for one year with four (4), one-year option periods. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS Code is 811310. The SIC Code is 7699. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value basis with past performance, warranty, and cost as evaluation criteria. The Performance Risk Assessment Group (PRAG) will conduct a past performance evaluation based upon the past performance of the offeror and any subcontractors as it relates to the probability of successful accomplishment of the work required by PWC to the award of the contract resulting from the solicitation. Detailed specifications and delivery requirements will be specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources must submit past performance and pricing data to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential offerors are hereby notified that that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www2.eps.gov, and this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. The request for proposal (RFP) will be posted approximately 22 May 2003. Number Note- 1 applies.
