Description

NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Cases-Cases, Inc. for three (QTY. 3) Submarine High Data Rate Antenna Pedestal Group shipping containers and two (QTY. 2) Sub Mast Cases for the Submarine High Data Rate Mast Electronic Group. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation, under N66604-03-Q-4088. This solicitation should be issued within the next week. This action is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 332439; size standard is 500 Employees. The Hardigg Company is the only know company that constructs the shipping containers per Raytheon proprietary drawings therefore is the sole source for the purchase of these containers. Cases-Case, Inc. is the distributor for Hardigg containers. Required delivery is 15-17 weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Any firm that believes it has the capability to meet the Government?s minimum requirements is invited to submit a quote for Government evaluation. All proposals from responsible sources will be considered. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
