- Description
- The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award contract modifications to Lockheed Martin Corporation (Lockheed Martin), Contract N00019-02-C-3002; and Pratt and Whitney, Military Engines (P&W), Contract N00019-02-C-3003 for the development of a JSF aircraft and a logistics and training system for International Cooperative Partners within National Disclosure Policy constraints. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available, and no formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or other solicitation regarding this announcement is currently available. GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin and P&W are the only contractors with the requisite technical expertise, technical data, facilities, analysis, manufacturing expertise, test and integration capabilities required to perform this effort within the required timeframe. The use of any other contractors would result in substantial schedule delay and duplication of cost to the Government for development, logistics support and support equipment.
