- DESCRIPTION: (PTA) Post Turnover Availability for the USNS Rainier (T-AOE-7) The period of performance for the requirement is 07 October 2003 to 21 November 2003. The area of consideration is CONUS West Coast. Major work items include: 000-General Requirements; 100 - Hull & Structural Repairs; 300 - Electrical Modifications; 400 - Installations & Modifications of Communication & Navigation Aids; 500 - Modifications & Repairs of Main Propulsion and Auxiliary Systems; 600 - Modifications & Installations of Outfitting, Furnishings & Habitability; 800 - Modifications & Cleaning of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning; 1000 - Refurbishment of UNREP Gear. Only written (fax, email, or regular mail) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 04 June 2003. This solicitation will be posted and can be viewed in the Contract Section on msc.navy.mil
