Description

NA DESC: NSN: 1005-01-146-3437, Part Number 11833472, The item to procure is a Discriminator Assy. XM21 blank firing attachment for M240/M240C MG assembly of components; P/N 11833473 spring plunger; P/N 11833467 wire rope assy; P/N 11833463 discriminator, c artridge; P/N MS171526 pin, spring. Requirements are 100 each, discriminator assy. FOB is destination. For use on the M240/M240C machine gun. ESTIMATED issue date is 2 May 2003. The estimated issue and response dates are just estimates. This solicitat ion incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors, who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal, are instructed to request same by submission of an electronic mail request to coffenberryt@ria.army .mil to receive a non-disclosure and non-use agreement that must be completed before the TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code, Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip C ode, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after solicitation has been released to the internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procure d to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronical ly in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINF O/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any int erested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100 percent small business set-aside.
