- NA The scope of work detailed in this statement is for on-call emergency corrective maintenance and telephone technical support on the Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) located in Bldg 398 and Bldg 513 at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. The o n-call maintenance coverage shall be for a one-year base period beginning with award of contract, plus four (4) one-year options. On-call emergency maintenance: The contractor shall provide the Government on-call emergency maintenance and telephone techn ical support on the ASRS, which includes but is not limited to the following material handling equipment and controls: (a) Nine (9) Eaton-Kenway Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV??????s) model GL-40 and associated controls, which includes an Eaton-Kenway AGV C controller running on a Compaq Deskpro (b) Six (6) Eaton-Kenway Unit Load cranes with KE-8/8 onboard controls, Quantum III digital DC drives, and an Eaton-Kenway ASRC controller running on a Compaq Deskpro. (c) Three (3) Eaton-Kenway Mini-Load 750 cranes , with advanced motion controls for the horizontal, vertical, and shuttle controls, which are controlled by the ASRC controller listed in item ??????B?????? above. (d) Two (2) Modicon 984 conveyor control systems and peripherals. (e) One (1) Modicon 984-4 80 control system and peripherals. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, documentation, test equipment, or other materials necessary to provide the required emergency maintenance of the ASRS. The contractor shall provide necessary repair parts an d invoice the Government separately for such repair parts. Installation of any repair parts, which cost in excess of $500.00, shall be approved in advance by the Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative. This contract is a sole-source pro curement to H.K.Systems. Any vendor that recognizes this service and would like to be considered for future procurements should submit technical literature for evaluation within 15 calendar days after this announcement. Only government approved vendors ma y be considered in future procurements. North American Industry Classification System is 811310. Size standard is 500 employees. . This solicitation will be issued electronically to H.K. Systems in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet:http://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issued date is 13 June 03. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendme nts and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of same.
