Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued at the site visit. STATEMENT OF WORK: In accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work, the contractor shall provide all tools, materials, parts and equipment to install conduit wire cover/protector over existing wire and metal sheath throughout the DC Armory. A site visit will be held on May 20, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the D .C. Armory, 2001 East Capitol St., S.E., Washington, D.C. SW-1 Location of Work: District of Columbia Army National Guard, 2001 East Capitol St. Washington DC 20003-1719 SW-2 Principle of Work: Contractor will install approximately 3000 liner feet of non-caustic conduit wire cover/protector over existing wire and metal sheath throughout the DC Armory. SW-3 The contractor will ensure that materials used throughout the armory will allow access to the protected wire. This conduit should not prohibit additional wire from being added to the existing wire group. All submittals, samples, etc should be sent to USPFO, Purchasing & Contracting, 189 Poremba Court, SW, Building 350, Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373. Attn: Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart. SW-4 Project Location: The location of the work site is the entire 1st and second floor South, East, West and North corridors, to include mezzanines and main office suits. SW-5 Installation: The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment and tools needed to complete the project. The contractor must make a sight visit prior to the start of the contract, and will be responsible for cleaning up after completion and during the close of each business day. At this visit, the contractor will measure all areas to be completed for materials being used. SW-6 Work Certification: Contractor must have 10 years or more experience in this field, and be able to show references if requested. SW-7 Environmental Concerns: The contractor is to furnish the name of the material being used for this project, to the USPFO Purchasing & Contracting, 189 Poremba Court, SW, Building 350, Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373. Attn: Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart for environmental office approval if required. SW-8 Term of Contract: The will have 45 days from the award date to complete project(Monday-Friday). NOTE: IF JOB IS SUB-CONTRACTED OUT, THE GAINNING CONTRACTOR MUST MEET THE SAME REQUSITES AS AFOREMENTIONED. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE JOB VIA SUB-CONTRACTOR, IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INITIAL CONTRACTOR TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. COR FOR THIS PROJECT IS 1LT RASHAD-ALI 202-685-9664.
