- NA This amendment is issued to revise information in the synopsis/solicitation notice posted on April 30, 2003, Subject: SmartZone Trunked Radio System Repair and Maintenance (manufactured by Motorola). Synopsis is changed to read: ??????The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Campbell, KY, intends to negotiate a sole source requirement with Motorola for SmartZone Trunked Radio System Repair and Maintenance. The Offer Schedule (contract line item number(s), items, quantities, and units of measure), the Statemen t of Work (SOW), and Wage Determination can be accessed at website http://doc.campbell.army.mil/. Performance period is for a base period of 12-Months and four (4) 12-Months Option Periods. Service is required to start on 24 May 2003. The NAICS Code is 811213 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000. Acquisition of this commercial item will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This notice is not a request for competitive offers; however, firms who believe they can meet the re quirements may submit written notification within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis. All responsible concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with t he sole source negotiation with Motorola.
