- RADIOLOGY TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE General Notice: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F73HOS31130100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business; NAICS: 561410; Size Std: $6,000,000.00. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1400 CST on 28 MAY 2003. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contacts listed on this notice. Contract Line Items (CLINs): RADIOLOGY TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES REQUIREMENT: CLIN 0001 - Estimated 65,000 lines of Routine Dictations annually. The contractor shall provide medical transcription services of outpatient medical services provided to Government beneficiaries. The contractor shall provide services in contractor-supplied facilities. Contractor services include furnishing all labor, reports, transcription of dictation, equipment, transportation and consultation. Transcription will be for Family Practice, Pediatrics, Specialty, Extended Hours Clinic, Flight Medicine, Radiology, and other outpatient clinics. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the Statement of Work. Projected length of contract will be basic year (1 June 2003 through 30 Sept 2003) plus four additional option years renewable on 1 October each year through 30 September 2007. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government. Price and other factors will be considered. The Government reserves the right to evaluate technical compliance/delivery capability and make a best value decision. This could result in award to other than the lowest price offer. Please submit between three and five references of prior performance for evaluation purposes.
