Description
Meeting Space and Lodging - The U.S. Department Of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA) intends to procure lodging and meeting space accommodations. Lodging and spaces are required for Twenty-five(25) participants for the New Foreign Senior Officers and Trade Specialist Training scheduled in Washington, D.C. on the following dates: August 18,2003 Thru August 29, 2003 . Most participants will arrive on Saturday August 16 and Sunday 17 , 2003 and depart on Saturday August 23, 2003. 20 participants will need lodging for 14 days and 5 participants will require lodging for approximately 6 days. Five Participants will be departing on August 23 and 20 will be departing on or about Saturday, August 30, 2003 . The exact number of participants requiring accommodations and their arrival date will be provided no later than 30 days prior to training session. With refreshments at A.M. and P.M. break session. The conference rooms to accommodate approximately (25) participants in a U-shape will be needed for each day throughout the training session. Safes or ability to secure valuables. The computer facility has additional tables for classroom-style lecture. The training equipment required: primary facility had approximately 21 computers with Internet access(mandatory)for each training day (August 18, 2003 thru August 29, 2003). Television monitor with VCR player, overhead projector with large screen, and must include two flip charts with stands and additional paper for day training session. (Actual days needed should be discussed with the training coordinator). The accommodations must have the following: Be three blocks or less from a Metro subway stop and Smoke detectors and (20) minute commuting time from Department of Commerce, 14th & Constitution Ave. N.W. Proposals shall be submitted via E-Mail to Barbara.H.Stubbs@NOAA.Gov. The E Mail title shall state "Conference Room Support". A Breakdown of all amenities, as well as location address and individual with authority to negotiate must be included in the proposal. The lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Reference -3-91631 (BHS).
